 Wine-Specific Conditions

Legal Requirements

You must be 21 years of age or older to order or receive alcoholic beverages from Camp Rose Cellars LLC. Receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages requires the signature of a sober adult (a person 21 years of age or older who is not intoxicated). Wines purchased from Camp Rose Cellars LLC are not for resale, and are for personal consumption only.

Credit Card Charges

Orders are by credit card only. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Minimum Purchase

No minimum purchase is required for pickup orders. Shipping orders have a 3-bottle minimum purchase unless they include a one or two bottle gift set.

States Authorized for Direct Shipment

Due to the ever-changing nature of wine shipping laws, we may be able to directly or indirectly ship wine to multiple US states. If Camp Rose Cellars LLC is unable to ship directly to your state, we may be able to arrange for the sale and shipment of our products through a third party.

Shipping Costs

GSO/GLS Ground is Camp Rose Cellars LLC carrier of choice (common carrier) for CA and Western states. UPS Ground is the carrier of choice for all other US destinations. Ground shipping may also be provided by Federal Express Ground when requested.  All ground shipping is provided at current market rates.

Shipping Policies

Wine is a perishable commodity. Wine does not like extreme temperatures: hot summers and cold winters may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. To ensure that your wines are delivered in same condition that they leave the winery, we store our wine in temperature-controlled conditions, carefully inspect bottles before they ship and hold shipments during times of extreme weather. If your order is held for weather, we will contact you by email with details and ship your order as soon as conditions allow.

We ask that you please inspect your wine as soon as it arrives. If anything is damaged in transit please let us know immediately so we may take action to remedy the situation. Camp Rose Cellars LLC cannot be held responsible for delivery delays outside of our reasonable control due to circumstances such as extreme weather, natural disasters, carrier errors, etc. When your wine order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine becomes the responsibility of the purchaser.

All in-stock wines purchased from Camp Rose Cellars LLC will be processed and shipped within five business days, unless held for extreme weather. We ship Monday through Wednesday; the transit time of your order will depend on the delivery address and shipping method. If you require delivery by or after a specific date, please respond to your order confirmation email with instructions.

Federal law requires that a person over the age of 21 sign for all alcohol deliveries, there are no exceptions. To that end, we strongly recommend shipping to a business address or a UPS location. Any missed delivery attempts, re-directs and returns will put the quality of your wine at risk and fees may apply. Order changes and address corrections requested after a shipment has been initiated will be subject to applicable fees.
